6 Heat Races
Every heat was in fact a 20 car feature event with only
the top three cars advancing into the Main Event.

Heat # 1 lineup : Lee Hobbs, James Buchwalter, Brian Worley,
Mike Gibson, Rod White, Barry Fairbanks

Buchwalter, Gibson and White make it 3 wide battling for the transfer spot

Barry Fairbanks was first under the checkers from his 6th starting position

Heat # 2 - Mike Medel leads Rick and Jeremy Hines
while Sam Lovejoy and Darrel Brown mix it up

Bruce Dennis and Conrad Newman battle for the transfer spot

Winning from his 9th starting position,
Rick Hines showed off his championship form

raced side by side for several laps

outside pole and never looked back!

powering his # 20 Chevy home first
